Congratulations to Elizabeth Fu, a senior from the International Community School, for being selected as the Washington FBLA February Member of the Month!
Being the epitome of the type of leader that FBLA creates, Elizabeth has demonstrated excellence in various aspects of FBLA. From excelling in competitive events, actively participating in national programs, such as the Business Achievement Awards, and going above and beyond to support her chapter, Elizabeth’s passion and dedication to FBLA truly makes her stand out. Elizabeth has been an integral part of the International Community School’s FBLA chapter. Throughout her high school years, Elizabeth has served multiple chapter positions, serving as the Public Relations Officer and Vice President of Communications, and then chapter president the following year. In these positions, Elizabeth created conference videos, high-quality merchandise, bulletin boards, and social media posters. As chapter president, Elizabeth introduced a new committee, the business partnership committee. She is attempting to work with the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce to offer internships to International Community School FBLA. These internships are opportunities that give students practical learning in business, preparing them for the real world.
Elizabeth is also an active member of her school. She has managed and advertised for multiple school events, including the Lollicup Fundraiser, Galaxy Ball, Tolo, and many others. Elizabeth’s commitment to Washington FBLA truly sets her apart as an outstanding member!
