January Chapter of the Month - Quincy High School
Congratulations to Quincy High School for being the January Washington FBLA Chapter of the Month! Quincy FBLA’s officers and members have been working on great projects. Two of these projects are their espresso stand, Java Jacks; and sign printing lab, Jacks Graphics. With these aspects of the chapter, they manage shifts, train new employees, and use marketing skills to maximize profit. This has gained their chapter community respect, as well as publicity within the district.
In terms of community outreach Quincy FBLA is just as strong! Every year the chapter officers host the Wenatchee Wild Pro Sports Career Day where education on Sports Marketing and Entertainment is offered. In addition to the Career Day, this year they raised over $700 from a coin drive for The Wellness Place, an organization that supports individuals and families who are in the fight against cancer. Also, Quincy FBLA hosted a Custodian Appreciation Night, which included dinner, dancing, and awards to recognize the effect custodians have on their school.
Congratulations again to Quincy High School on this recognition! Go to wafbla.org to find out how your chapter can be recognized for this award!
