Celia Vigil is thrilled to be serving as the Northeast Region Vice President. She is currently a Junior at Freeman High School and this is her third year as a member of FBLA. She has served one year as a chapter secretary and enjoys being involved in her FBLA chapter’s events and community service projects. In FBLA competitions, she has competed in Public Speaking 1 and Introduction to Business presentation, and placed first in the state in Public Speaking 1 in 2017. This fall she will be a full-time student at Spokane Falls Community college while completing high school credit through the Running Start program, so by the end of high school she will have earned a general AA degree. Celia then plans on attending the University of Washington where she hopes ultimately to attain a doctorate in either mathematics or physics. Her experiences in FBLA have challenged her and provided her with numerous professional skills that continue to help her in the professional world, as well as leadership skills essential for her career and in her current endeavors. She truly believes that FBLA is an incredible program that can take members to new heights if they are willing to put in the time and effort. She is passionate about her role as a state officer and will earnestly strive to better FBLA at the state and regional level!
